Volleyball Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

Firebaugh managed to slip by Norwalk the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Firebaugh Falcons lost 3-0 to the Norwalk Lancers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since February 18th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.

Firebaugh has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. The victory (which was Norwalk's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firebaugh will welcome Lynwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norwalk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against La Mirada at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
