Rolla had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Licking on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 10-4. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rolla pushed their record up to 11-12 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Licking, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rolla will face off against Camdenton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Licking, they will take on West Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
