Basketball Game Preview: Decatur Community Red Devils vs. Greeley County Jackrabbits

Decatur Community is 2-8 against Greeley County since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Decatur Community Red Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Greeley County Jackrabbits.

Decatur Community managed to keep up with Dighton until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Decatur Community took a blow against Dighton, falling 66-33.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Greeley County beat Wichita County 50-45 on Tuesday.

Greeley County's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6. As for Decatur Community, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-7.

Decatur Community strolled past Greeley County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 52-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Decatur Community since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
