River Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals. On the bright side, the 36- point effort marked the Jaguars' highest-scoring contest to date.

Maloree Walthaw had another great game (as she tends to do), almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine boards for Cornerstone Charter. Those nine rebounds gave Walthaw a new career-high. Emily Southern also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.

River Mill's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cornerstone Charter, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.
