Softball Recap: Ramona Convent Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ramona Convent put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets by a score of 7-3. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Chloe Gonzalez was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Mariana Figueroa was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Ramona Convent's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Ramona Convent will be playing at home against Pasadena at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they will head out on the road to face off against Southlands Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southlands Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
