Softball Recap: Granbury Takes a Loss

Granbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 11-6 to the Fossil Ridge Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-6 on March 5th.

Karmyn Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

Granbury's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Fossil Ridge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granbury will take on Saginaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Granbury is facing Saginaw at the right time seeing as Saginaw is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Fossil Ridge, they will square off against Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
