Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was the 47-43 winner over David Emanuel Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Trinity Christian fell to the David Emanuel Academy Eagles 39-35.

Leading David Emanuel Academy to victory were Addalyn Terwilliger and Kyli Bell. Terwilliger posted 16 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Bell had 12 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Terwilliger has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Williams, who put up two points and six rebounds.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for David Emanuel Academy, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6.

Trinity Christian and Edmund Burke Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for David Emanuel Academy, they and Glascock County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
