Berkley came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Shrine Catholic Knights 8-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2019.

Berkley's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-17. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Shrine Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.
