Basketball Recap: Lexi Rose's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harriman over Oakdale

Harriman was the 61-43 winner over Oakdale when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Harriman Blue Devils took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakdale Eagles on Friday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lexi Rose, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points. That's the most points Rose has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aaralyn Humphrey, who had 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Harriman now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Oakdale, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Harriman has already played their next contest, a 71-55 victory against Midway on the 11th. As for Oakdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-25 win against Rockwood on the 11th.
