Germantown Academy came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Neshaminy Skins. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Germantown Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-11, 25-22, 26-24.

Pilar Presson paced Germantown Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Presson got some help from Nicole Ward and her 25 assists. Abby Traina controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Germantown Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3-2.

Looking ahead, Germantown Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Academy-Notre Dame De Namur at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Patriots' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Neshaminy has already played their next contest (against Burlington Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
