Basketball Recap: Mission San Jose Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mission San Jose, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 72-60 victory over the Watsonville Wildcatz on Friday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcatz, too.

Mission San Jose's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Watsonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Mission San Jose and Lowell will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mission San Jose is facing Lowell at the right time seeing as Lowell is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Watsonville, they will take on Newark Memorial in a tournament on Thursday. Watsonville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Newark Memorial likes a good challenge.
