Volleyball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Minooka Indians. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Oswego was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Minooka, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oswego will welcome West Aurora at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Minooka, they will host Romeoville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
