Baseball Game Preview: Banneker Academy vs. Boerum Hill

On Wednesday, Banneker Academy came up short against Robeson Business Tech and fell 8-4. Banneker Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Boerum Hill strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Morel Campos as they made off with a 7-1 win. The seven-run effort marked Boerum Hill's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Boerum Hill pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Banneker Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Banneker Academy might still be hurting after the 18-0 loss they got from Boerum Hill in their previous matchup back in March. Can Banneker Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
