Bayfield's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Farmington Scorpions as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-11.

Leading Bayfield to victory were Maeli Quintana and Lauren Rich. Quintana had five digs and three aces, while Rich had nine digs and one assist. What's more, Quintana posted two assists, the most she's had since September 6th.

They weren't the only good servers: Bayfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Bayfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Farmington, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Bayfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Piedra Vista on the 2nd. As for Farmington, they will challenge Rio Rancho at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
