Taft lost to Delano back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wildcats snuck past the Tigers with a 55-51 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.
Nick Andrade had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 48% from the field on his way to 27 points. Another player making a difference was Adam Cervantes, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.
Taft was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delano only racked up nine.
Despite the loss, Delano still got an impressive performance from Jotham Amodo, who had 23 points. Daniel Cabrera was another key player, putting up 12 points.
Taft's record now sits at 8-17. As for Delano, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.
Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delano, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-41 win against Chowchilla on the 13th.
