Basketball Recap: North Central Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked David Thibodaux

North Central lost to David Thibodaux back in November of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Everything went the North Central Hurricanes' way against the David Thibodaux Bulldogs as the North Central Hurricanes made off with a 55-30 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hurricanes' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 26th).

North Central's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for David Thibodaux, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-2.

North Central will finish 2024 at home by hosting Brusly on Monday. Brusly will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something North Central surely won't give up without a fight. David Thibodaux and Port Barre will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
