Volleyball Recap: Salesian College Preparatory Takes a Loss

Salesian College Preparatory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Swett Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Salesian College Preparatory started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-18.

Salesian College Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Swett, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-11.

Salesian College Preparatory will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saint Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Swett, they will square off against Pinole Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
