Recap: Springboro Panthers vs. St. Xavier Bombers
On Friday, Springboro was the victim of a tough 35-13 loss at the hands of St. Xavier. Springboro was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.
St. Xavier was led to victory by Steven Napier and Jacob Britt. Napier rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns, while Britt rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Another big playmaker for St. Xavier was Andrew Weber, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Springboro has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for St. Xavier, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Springboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Xavier will be playing at home against Archbishop Moeller at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
