Softball Recap: Eastern Randolph Drops Season-High Score on Trinity

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern Randolph). They blew past the Trinity Bulldogs 18-2 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Wynne Bartholow was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Ritter, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.

Eastern Randolph was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trinity only posted a batting average of .100.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-16. As for Trinity, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Eastern Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity, they will welcome Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
