Peotone extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Payton Pape. The Blue Devils came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-38 W against the Tri-Point Chargers with plenty of help from Pape, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 16 points and eight steals. Peotone is 3-1 when Pape posts three or more steals, but 2-5 otherwise.

Peotone's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Tri-Point, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Peotone didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-31 defeat against Iroquois West on the 15th. As for Tri-Point, they have also already played their next matchup, a 45-37 loss against Wilmington on the 15th.
