Fredericksburg can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Blanco Panthers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Billies have posted since October 18, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Blanco lost, don't look at Lily Bendele. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and one assist. Kamryn Gaskamp also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Fredericksburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Blanco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
