It was a good run, but Hillsboro unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moundridge Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 42-33 defeat back in January.

Cammi Unruh was her usual excellent self, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 21 points and three steals for Moundridge. Unruh is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Kaminkow, who posted seven points and three steals.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Moundridge, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.

Hillsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moundridge, they will take on Remington at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
