The Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats were the 58-50 winner over the St. John's Islanders when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics fell just short of St. John's by a score of 47-45.

When it comes to explaining why Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Rylan Dundon. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with 16 rebounds and five steals. Dundon is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kylie Schroder was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for St. John's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Charleston Math & Science at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th. Charleston Math & Science is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. As for St. John's, they will head out on the road to face off against Stall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Stall presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. John's in South Carolina (Stall is ranked 81st, while St. John's is ranked 209th).
