Cedaredge came tearing into Thursday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Centauri Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 on Thursday.

Rylan Brooks was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carson Rupp, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cedaredge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Cedaredge pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Centauri, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedaredge will face off against Sargent at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Farmers have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Centauri, they are taking a road trip to face off against Gunnison at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
