Volleyball Recap: Crooksville Takes a Loss

Crooksville lost against Morgan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ceramics lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Ceramics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Crooksville took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.

Mylee Davis paced Crooksville's offense, picking up eight kills. Davis got some help from Cloe Canter and her ten assists. Alexis Eyman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crooksville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Morgan, with the victory, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Crooksville will take on Newcomerstown in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Morgan, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
