Basketball Recap: Bonneville's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Bonneville won the last time they faced Northridge, and Ben Tesch did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bonneville Lakers strolled past the Northridge Knights with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 62-48 thanks in part to Tesch, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Bonneville's points.

Another player making a difference was Davis Degroot, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and five boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

With the victory, Bonneville broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9. As for Northridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonneville will face off against Woods Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Woods Cross' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Northridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clearfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northridge is facing Clearfield at the right time seeing as Clearfield is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
