Soccer Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope lost against Columbia back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The New Hope Indians fell 6-4 to the Columbia Eagles. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Collins Lifambe and Timothy Gordon scored all four of New Hope's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Columbia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

New Hope has already played their next matchup (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Columbia, they are taking a road trip to square off against Muscle Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
