Lindale is 8-2 against Mineola since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lindale Eagles will be playing at home against the Mineola Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mineola will be up against a hot Lindale team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. Lindale blew past Cumberland Academy 7-2 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Knights are ranked 664th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mineola, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Cumberland Academy with a sharp 6-2 win on Tuesday. Jonathan Ledesma was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

Mineola pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five matchups. As for Lindale, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
