Basketball Recap: Hobbton Piles Up the Points Against Jones

There's no place like home for Hobbton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Jones Trojans 63-33. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Wildcats just coasted through the last quarter.

Hobbton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amir Tate led the charge by putting up 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Simpson, who posted 17 points.

The win got Hobbton back to even at 2-2. As for Jones, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Hobbton will head out to face off against Princeton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jones, they will venture away from home to take on East Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. East Columbus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.
