Kreig Garrett posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Garrett's strong effort led Central Heights over Pleasanton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
