Baseball Recap: Central Heights Takes a Loss

Central Heights lost against West Franklin on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings fell 9-6 to the Falcons. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Heights saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kreig Garrett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Central Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for West Franklin, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Heights will challenge Pleasanton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings are facing the Blu-Jays at the right time seeing as the Blu-Jays are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for West Franklin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wabaunsee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.75 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
