Valley Lutheran was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against San Manuel on Friday. The Valley Lutheran Flames simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the San Manuel Miners 53-18. The Flames have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Valley Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for San Manuel, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Valley Lutheran and Cicero Prep Academy will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. One thing working in Cicero Prep Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for San Manuel, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ray at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
