Soccer Recap: Mt. Carmel vs. Newton
Mt. Carmel fell victim to Newton and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Newton Eagles. The Golden Aces haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Newton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Mt. Carmel will be playing at home against North Posey at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newton, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Pana at 10:00 a.m. Newton is facing Pana at the right time seeing as Pana is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
