Breck hadn't done well against Minnehaha Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mustangs never let the Red Hawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Breck, bringing their record up to 5-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Minnehaha Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Breck will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Hawks: the pair will be back at it again later today.
