Basketball Recap: Parkland Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Parkland won against South Stokes on Monday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the East Forsyth Eagles as they made off with a 62-41 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Parkland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taniya Eldridge, who shot 88% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Eldridge is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Azari Wilkins, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 15 points and eight assists.

Parkland was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why East Forsyth lost, don't look at Rajanae Bethea. Despite the final result, she posted 18 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

The victory keeps Parkland at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 57.5 points this season. As for East Forsyth, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Parkland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-28 victory against East Davidson on the 2nd. As for East Forsyth, they have also already played their next game, a 61-29 win against Western Guilford on the 2nd.
