Basketball Recap: Kearney Takes a Loss

Kearney lost against Winnetonka back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kearney Bulldogs took a 67-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winnetonka Griffins. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Kearney's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Winnetonka, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Kearney and Winnetonka should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Kearney will square off against Raytown South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 164 places (88 vs. 252). Similarly, Winnetonka (ranked 36th) will meet Smithville (ranked 357th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
