Volleyball Recap: Republic Comes Up Short

Republic lost against Conway back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Wampus Cats by a score of 2-1.

Kate Mitchell paced Republic's offense, picking up eight kills. Mitchell got some help from Reese Finley and her nine assists. Chloe Pullan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Republic now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Conway, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Republic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Eldon on the 20th. As for Conway, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Ozark on the 20th.
