Baseball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils vs. Central Dragons
Bellwood-Antis extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping their season record down to 4-8 in the process. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hunter Kyle and Landon Sneath did some serious damage despite the final result: Kyle went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Sneath went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. Bellwood-Antis is 2-1 when Sneath posts two or more runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Cam Swogger was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Coming up, Bellwood-Antis is taking a road trip to face off against Clearfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bison will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, they will welcome Forest Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
