            Boyd Anderson is 1-6 against Plantation since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. After both having extra time off,  the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 5:30  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Boyd Anderson took a loss when they played away from home  last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  last Thursday. They walked away with  an   11-6  win over Stranahan. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cobras' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Trevell Roberts was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  3.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts any time he's  pitched this season. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Boyd Anderson's success: when he posts  at  least two  stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).

 In other batting news,  Ephriam Golden and  Shad Jordan did most of the damage at the plate:  Golden  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while  Jordan  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Jordan has become a key player for Boyd Anderson: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  two  stolen bases, but 0-3 otherwise.  Elijah Royster was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Plantation hadn't beaten Hollywood Hills on the road since April 20, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them  last Thursday. Plantation came out on top against Hollywood Hills by a score of  9-6. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Colonels.
 Boyd Anderson moved to 3-4 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Plantation, their record is now 4-6.
 Boyd Anderson might still be hurting after the  12-5 loss they got from Plantation  when the teams last played  back in February. Can Boyd Anderson avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
