The home team had won the previous five meetings between Owen and Rosman, and Owen kept the tradition alive. The Warhorses put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Warhorses in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Owen took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-12.

Mia Roland paced Owen's offense, picking up 12 kills. Roland got some help from Kenzie Robinson and her 27 assists. Roland also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adeline West, racking up two apiece.
