Volleyball Recap: White River Hornets vs. Gilbert Tigers

If White River was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Jefferson last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The White River Hornets fell just short of the Gilbert Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. While the Hornets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-19 in the first set.

White River started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 15-12.
