The Davis Darts will take on the Farmington Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Farmington will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Davis extended their winning streak to eight on Saturday. Everything went the Darts' way against Logan as they made off with a 10-4 victory.

Davis got a massive performance out of Riley Jaques, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Jaques has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jewel Korth, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Davis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in eight consecutive games.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Farmington and Layton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Phoenix put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 13-3 win on Friday. The game was the first time the Phoenix have beaten the Lancers on their field since March 22, 2022.

Brooklyn Wright was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Kiley Gazafy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Farmington's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Davis, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Farmington's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Davis has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game.
