Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walkerville). They came out on top against the Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars by a score of 39-32 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Cougars back in January, they had to take a 39-34 loss.

Crossroads Charter Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Griffin Guernsey, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Guernsey continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Remmey Carnes, who posted seven points and four steals.

Walkerville picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they will challenge Bear Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
