Volleyball Recap: Raymond Central Takes a Loss

Raymond Central was the 2-1 winner over Westview when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines on Saturday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Raymond Central ultimately came up short, they really made Westview work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20.

Raymond Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Westview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Raymond Central will head out to take on Arlington on Tuesday. As for Westview, they will take on Lincoln Southeast at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
