While Ridgedale put up plenty of  runs on Thursday, the same  can't be said for Perry. The Rockets put the hurt on the Commodores with a sharp  15-0 win. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Kenzie Delaney made a splash no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in May of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Jillian Slaughterbeck was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Brenda Scott, who  went 1-for-3 with three  runs and one  RBI.
 Ridgedale  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perry only posted  an  OBP of  .000.
Ridgedale has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Perry,  they are  on  a  16-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgedale will welcome Vanlue  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Perry, they will square off against Allen East at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.27  runs per game on average), something the Commodores will no doubt try to take advantage of.
