Recap: Southside Panthers vs. Dallas County Hornets
Even though the Dallas County Hornets scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, the Southside Panthers still came out on top. Southside walked away with a 67-59 victory over Dallas County. That's another feather in the cap for Southside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Dallas County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joshua Davis III . Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 blocks. The game was Davis III 's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kodell Sharp, who scored 13 points.
Southside's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dallas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Southside will be playing at home against Keith at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dallas County, they will head out on the road to face off against Maplesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
