Baseball Recap: San Elizario Takes a Loss

San Elizario was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Irvin Rockets, falling 11-5. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

San Elizario's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Irvin, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8-1.

San Elizario has already played their next matchup (against Andress), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Irvin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ysleta at 6:30 p.m. on March 21st.
