After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Broadwater, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sweet Grass County Sheepherders 42-6. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Sheepherders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Tyzer Zody was his usual excellent self, throwing for 208 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 93 yards and one score on only ten carries. Jefferson is undefeated when Zody posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Cobe Burnett was Zody's top target, picking up 74 receiving yards and three TDs.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Mikael Richard, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Sweet Grass County lost, don't look at Colter Anderson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sweet Grass County, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
