Soccer Game Preview: Magnolia Heights vs. Lamar

Magnolia Heights is 0-10 against Lamar since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Magnolia Heights Chiefs will welcome the Lamar Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Magnolia Heights' offense. They came up short against Heritage Academy on Thursday, falling 7-0. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lamar had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Patriots a 1-0 shutout.

Magnolia Heights now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
