The Springfield Yellow Jackets will take on the Page Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Springfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Beech to the tune of 47-14 on Friday. Springfield's victory was all the more impressive since the Buccaneers were averaging only 14.92 points allowed on the season.

Springfield got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaidon Hurst out in front who rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per carry. Those 200 rushing yards gave Hurst a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan (Kj) Chatman, who rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns.

Springfield wouldn't let Beech keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force five fumbles. (Kj) Chatman led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself. Springfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 385 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Page put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Shelbyville Central 28-6. With the Patriots ahead 21-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
